Loving the back roads....

We took our time and mostly back roads coming home from our camping adventure.   It was so wonderful to spend time with our son's three children.   We don't get to see them often these days, so we were thrilled when our 16 year old grandson came to our campsite and spent over an hour just talking and enjoying the campfire with us.
On our way home, I stopped and took a photo of these colorful gourds (the man who lived here was NOT happy that I only wanted a picture!!).   I noticed one last rose in our yard when we pulled in, so I bordered the fall harvest with a flower chain for Anni's flower Friday.

Tonight, dinner and music with some dear friends...can't wait!!!
