2500
A typography challenge for my 2,500th blip.
Each of these numbers were found on street furniture in and around my One Street during a short wander at lunch time today. They are all standard type for their particular object (I think) and can be found on any UK street, and at least one is international. The background colour is a big clue for two of them.
Answers on a postcard, or alternatively feel free to post below...
And cheers for sticking with me this long.
And special thanks to Kendall for kicking off the One Street challenge all those moons ago.
For the record:
2: Road Sign (for typography geeks this is something of a curiosity, as it is in Transport Medium font, but depicts a sign towards a motorway, and hence is on a blue panel. Motorway signage has its own font: Motorway Permanent. For more on fonts associated with UK roads, see here.)
5: Shipping Container.
0: Fire Hydrant.
0: Street Lamp.
