Autumn glory

Seen at Stowe today,  a Tulip tree just catching the sunlight.

(It is a Liriodendron Tulipifera)

A busy day working in a small team, we planted 2000 bulbs, mainly daffodils, This is a part of the on-going bulb planting programme which involves planting several thousand bulbs each Autumn to enhance the gardens for the Spring visitors.
