The backside!

Going north from the centre of Mahon towards its Museum and Cathedral you walk along the tall and elegant town houses and mansions of Minorca’s 18th century elite. These buildings on Carrer d’Isabel ll back directly on to Mahon’s famous harbour and this is the backside and very impressive from sea level which was it’s purpose.
