Misty Ochils

Driving to Edinburgh this morning I noticed the mist on the hills - very autumnal. Taking this photograph involved a tricky manoeuvre on a busy roundabout but it went without mishap. Are these Ayrshire cows? Someone can put me right I'm sure. A visit to mum then a planned lunch with my friend C went pearshaped when she had to attend to an unexpected medical matter with her mother-in-law. We need to rearrange soon.

The younger and youngest generation houseguests have gone away for the weekend. The house is strangely quiet but I think we'll cope.
