Deep in the woods

A bit behind with posting this week. It's been a busy few days, but all good stuff. First time I've been to the movies (can I still call it that) for many years. We went to see Victoria and Abdul. Quite amusing in places, quite sad in others. Followed by a fabulous meal in Mowgli in Liverpool. Fairly quiet day in the cathedral yesterday, although St Margaret's was in rehearsing for their prize giving night. The choir was quite good and a very young man was entertaining us with Beatles numbers. This trunk is deep in the woods at Speke. I wonder what's been attacking it!!
Forecast winds tomorrow means that we have decided to close Speke very early. I am bringing forward my tours to lunch time. Hope the wind doesn't get up my tights.......
