Great tit in the garden...

Another dull and dreary day! But for a while this morning the light was a little better so I tried a bit more lens... The closest focusing distance for this lens is too long to put the tripod on the kitchen worktop so it has to be set up further back from the window... The result is that the usable field of view is through the open window from the middle of the kitchen!  Patience is required!

This afternoon I took Margaret over to the Ida Darwin Library, she was attending a training afternoon for her volunteer job at Fulbourn Hospital. On the way back we collected Claire who is stopping overnight for a belated birthday celebration.  Chinese take-a-way tonight!
