Confolens

I really want to come back here as it was so lovely - and I've got plenty of ideas for more pictures around the place!

Our last day in Confolens - and what a gorgeous morning. The early morning mists and the many, many cobwebs caught my eye in the morning. We had our last wander around the village - the old mill looked spectacular in the light. The afternoon was booked on the Velo Rail - it's a cross between a bicycle and one of those comedy platforms you see cartoon characters use to escape on train tracks. We even found a little friend. The scenery around the tracks was mainly trees and bridges which were stunning in the sun - I'm really glad it didn't rain! In the evening we got distracted by another walk on the hunt for some food - the view was certainly worth it.
