Spinning

Inspired by biker bear and vodkaman, I braved a peek at a spider through my macro lens today.

I am not all that bothered by spiders viewed by my eyes but I am a little freaked by close ups viewed on my laptop screen.

This spider was busy launching silk from a raised leg? into the air. Fascinating. In some of my other pictures the thread is more in focus than the spider but I 'like' the nasty face and the bonus bug in this one.
