Sparrow 'Des Res'
My friend's hedge is alive with sparrows, you can hear the constant chirping as you walk by. As it has been recently trimmed the holes in it are clearly visible (see 'extra') and it would seem that each hole is an entry to a sparrow's home. It is well known that they like to live close together but it was fascinating to stand there for several minutes yesterday and watch countless sparrows hop in and out of the holes, nip over to the feeders and return - taking no notice of me and Pixie at all.
The garden was full of the final splendour of the roses and other colourful flowers - so frustrating - one day hard to find one Blip, the next so many to chose from! (I have added a couple of roses in the 'extras' too)
