Signs of the times
It was dull and drizzly as I drove to me meeting in Forfar this morning so no views of the hills. However, the sun came out soon after and it was still bright on my way back. However, the laybys aren't in suitable places for the hill views and I didn't have time for any detours, but I did spot this bright tree opposite a layby.
Once I'd stopped I realised there wasn't only the single autumnal tree but also a conifer felled by the recent gales.
