Capri

Had a brilliant day going round the coast of Capri on a tiny little boat we hired. The guided boat trips were coming in really expensive (between 950 euros and 250 euros) so Mike did a bit of research and found a company who hired us a little boat for 3 hours for 90 euros! It was great. We got to go round the whole island. The scenery was absolutely stunning. I took hundreds of photos on my Nikon but will go through those when I get home so just phone pics on here.

We visited the blue grotto which involved transferring to a rowing boat and going through a tiny arch (had to lie flat in the boat) into a cavern. The water in the cavern was glow in the dark blue!(see extra picture) The rowers were all singing opera style which echoed round the walls! We were expected to pay a tip for the extra singing

Once we dropped the boat back there was time for the kids to have a swim in the crystal clear water off the beach before getting Ice creams and the ferry back. We had dinner in Sorrento.
