Out of time

Last year was the 25th anniversary of `Out of Time' by R.E.M. To mark the occasion a triple album of the record was released. It was too dear at the time but a month or so ago, it was on sale very cheaply and I succumbed.
As well as the original album it has demo versions and alternate takes etc.

The demo disc has no vocals and I am currently treating it as a karaoke backing track.

In other news, my Appointment with Destiny went much as expected. No deal. So I am staying where I am. Apparently, it's because they value me too much. Of course, they said that to all the denied. But, with me, they really meant it.
