Fallen Angel

Spotted this decapitated Crocus longiflorus flower in the garden.  Most likely felled by a slug.  Brought indoors it's opened nicely.  The leaves are African Violets, set in water where they should root in a while and deliver a batch of new plants in due course :-)

Not my most productive day, virus and feeling rough.  Aiming to be well for going away next week so a couple of quiet ones ahead.
