Cake!

I was so thrilled to see this cake decorated with pink hearts at Spinneys this afternoon. I'd popped in to get something for lunch, and the lady who was doing the promotion didn't mind me taking a picture. :)

Today was my turn to visit the Well Woman clinic; it should have happened yesterday when G was there, but my appointment had to be rescheduled. All I can say is, I'll be happy not to have to go back for at least a couple of years!

And in the evening, while G was at Awana, I had a go at doing some edits on the website - the non-technical bits i.e. getting text tidied up. So pleased I can do something like that myself. It is Diwali today so there were lots of fireworks noises going on in the garden below. I had braced myself for it to continue until midnight, but fortunately, it didn't go beyond 10pm. Phew. Some of them were really very loud!
