Stromness looking to Ness

Across to Stromness to meet up with friends from Forres. 

R used to be an art teacher at the Academy and we happened to meet up with one of his former pupils who moved up north a few years ago.  The young man is very articulate and works in the local bakery.  When pressed by R he admitted he had only retained a couple of artist names from all the classes he had sat in.   He said that on night shift in October, at 3 a.m., it was difficult to introduce ‘Warhol’ into any conversation with his colleagues.  However he swiftly added that they had no bother in discussing Kandinsky, especially since the time he won the Derby.
