Not convinced

I have done a fair bit of felt-making in my time and have a huge stash of fleece stored away as a result. But I have never done needle-felting. When we were walking round the Knitting and Stitching Show at the weekend, we noticed a lot of needle-felting around and we were particularly fascinated watching a lady as she worked. She had produced a range of really lovely felt animals. Of course I bought her book and then sourced the right needles from a specialist stand.  
   
So, I now have the materials and the tools, I just have to learn how to do this. My Grandaughter is confident that Grandma will make penguins just like the ones the lady was making. I am not as convinced, but will have a go. Why do I take on yet another project!!
