All the Fun of the Fair

It rained today, it rained all day!

Ann braved the weather and walked into Stratford whilst I followed on later in the car (sensible me). I still got quite wet walking to Nero from the car park, but not as wet as she did.

The Runaway Mop was setting up in the town centre. This the smaller fair which arrives a week after the main Mop, named after the agriculture and domestic workers who were looking for new employment, presumable carrying their cleaning gear, the Runaway being the opportunity for employers to reconsider the hiring before committing to giving a year's occupation.

I felt sorry for the guys setting up, it's a lot of work assembling the rides for a two day fair, especially in the rain.
