Growing in the cracks

Walked through the tunnel connecting the old main block of the hospital to the Starship Children's Hospital, in order to review my patient in the Mother Baby Unit. As I cam out from beneath the ground, out through the glass wall I saw a concrete wall with a thin crack between two slabs of concrete. Plants have established themselves in that crack.

Late addition:
Political negotiations have been concluded and the NZ Labour Party is going to form a government in coalition with NZ First and an arrangement with the NZ Green Party. Best possible government after the recent indeterminate election. Labour will be kept more true to its traditional roots by the two partner parties, and I feel hopeful that the result will be that the worst off will be seriously helped to become better off.
