"Monarch of the Glen", but not the painting by Landseer or the novel by the wonderful Compton Mackenzie, or even the BBC TV series of the same name... It's your everyday monarch, in the woods at Woburn, too lazy to get up and roar, looking back at me and saying:

"What are you gawping at?"
