Pink October : Scene at the Park

It has been very hot today, reaching +24C.  It was very hot playing croquet this afternoon, but the 10 of us had enjoyable games.  This morning I went to have a cuppa with my Photography friends, always good to catch up.

After croquet I went to the lake, but as there was no wind, the yachting was cancelled.  That to do?  I walked through Wanaka Station Park, and thought the late afternoon sun looked great on this Rhododendron tree.  So that has to be my pink blip for today.
