Good Grace

We went for a walk today, up to the waterfall at the top of the road, and Grace found a nice big stick that she thought would be ideal for her Uncle next door to burn in his wood fire. She insisted on carrying it home for him, even though it's a quarter mile walk, which is pretty tough going for a six year old carrying a big stick! She wouldn't let us help, nor leave it at the roadside to be collected the next day. Good on ya, Grace (and her Uncle did appreciate the gesture!).

And we had a great evening... pizza, wine, JD, and '30 Days of Night' (when the kids were asleep)...
