Avenida del Mar

I love this pedestrian walkway in Marbella, it is lined with statues by Salvador Dali with lots of fountains and shady seats to watch the world go by.
We had a stroll around the old town but it got too hot so we headed down to the beach for a swim in the medi- the water was a bit cold but fine once you went numb!
Some yummy tapas and olives while watching the 'world' stroll the promenade then home in time for the sunset. It's not a bad old life!
