Autumn rose

With the days getting shorter and the diary having me chained to the desk in the office, the opportunities to get photographs are limited. So I look out for chances in daylight as I head to work as it is now dark when I get home.

So the sight of the rain soaked fresh rosebud was welcome. Despite the wind the droplets we’re hanging in there. The season for flowers blooming just seems to keep extending.

Otherwise hours of reading and writing papers and letters and getting ready for the publication of our Annual Report in the next few days.
