Dad-Cab

A very wet day - spotted this charming little duo cycling down the road during the school run. Zoom in and have a look at the way this bike has been adapted to transport this cute little being.

Today I nearly fell victim to a scam on eBay . I am mentioning it as it concerned the sale of a DSLR camera. The camera was on auction for a week, finishing today. The starting price was £400. Late last night the bidding had only reached £440. When I checked this morning there was an e mail from eBay saying the camera had been sold for £2049.00! Crazy! Alarm bells really started to ring when the buyer wanted  to pay me direct. To cut a long story short, the camera was to go to Athens, the buyer would pay the courier. I received an e mail from PayPal stating that the funds were " pending in my account", that I was to send the camera today, then send PayPal the tracking number then the funds would be released. guess what, there was absolutely no mention of these funds, pending or otherwise, in my PayPal account. I contacted eBay - there was no record of any payment, impending or otherwise. So I cancelled the sale. The buyer's emails have now dried up! Had he not been so greedy I might have fallen for this. The letter from  PayPal was extremely convincing!
BEWARE!
