Las Gatas Surfer

The surf was up at Playa Las Gatas this morning. This happens maybe a half dozen times a year. I have long wanted to be on the water shooting back toward the shore during one of these session, but the waves are normally too big on our beach for me to launch my kayak. This morning I got my paddle board out past the breaking surf and made it to Playa Las Gatas in time to capture this youngster as he shredded the waves. My underwater point and shoot is not the best when it comes to action captures, but it is what I have available when bobbing in the sea.
