View from Mary Mount

A nice dry day here in the lakes today with plenty of sunshine in the morning. We stopped at the southern end of Derwentwater, went over Ashness Bridge and took in the view from Mary Mount where my blip was taken with the panoramic feature on the iPhone - amazingly smooth tones and somehow managing to cope with the massive contrast issues but maybe a little bit garish and over-saturated in hues and also so easy to do compared with our normal photographic challenges. We then went to Watendlath for the afternoon.
