Calm before the Storm

It has been a dull, humid few days, with the threat of a Thunderstorm today.

We were faced, this morning, with the prospect of our Electiricty being turned off from 10.00 until 19.30 as work was to be done in the sub-station.   Also a threatened storm and rain for most of the day.

We brought the car out of the garage in case it would be needed, filled a flask with boiling water for a cuppa.   I nipped down to the Supermarket for a few bits and managed a few shots of the yachts in the Marina and arrived home before the storm started.

The wind arrived, thunder and lightening and a heavy shower.   Not as bad as those poor people in the north however.

The electricity went off for 10 minutes and that's it!!  So not as bad as at first thought.

More rain forecast for tomorrow.
