Fire in the Sky...

.. (Not the Travis Walton kind, thank goodness).

We had been visiting relatives and returned via Macclesfield just as the sun was setting. The sky was so spectacular. This was just a quick snap and is straight off the camera. On my screen I can see Macclesfield nestling (though I suspect Macclesfield would never describe itself as a 'nestler', it probably sees itself more as a 'scrummager'? But in a Good Way, obviously) in the dip.

So for two days, blips of unusual skies.

They are backblips owing to a shortage of time.
I'm afraid comments are lagging behind too.
