Just like an August Day!

Whitby today, the high winds are gone, the sun is out, it's warm and there are crowds around the harbour, and even though there is a choppy sea running, no shortage of pleasure boats taking people out for twenty minute rides, (which for the non seafarers among them may be a bit too long!)
This is the two third scale replica of Captain Cook's endeavour, always a popular ride.
it was more like August than October even Buskers were out on the harbour working the crowds, and the fish and chip cafes and pubs doing a roaring trade!
