Scottish Parliament from Dynamic Earth

As we'd had a visit to school yesterday to allow our son to practice the school stairs with crutches, we felt that the return to school was beginning to be a possibility. As I couldn't seem to motivate him towards much in the way of school work, I took the other alternative which was to get him out for some fresh air and a trip to Dynamic Earth.

This attraction is one which he chooses to visit time and time again, although the Camera Obscura is usually the first choice, but was ruled out on this occasion due to the stair climbing involved.

We just made it into the building in time before the heavens opened and we had torrential rain. So our visit was a leisurely one, and by the time we'd zoomed back in time in the 'time lift', visited the polar regions, and the rain forest and all sorts of other entertainments, the skies had cleared and we saw this view.
