Hare Hill

It is really unpredictable which jobs I can do with my injured knee, and which I can't.  Last week we were repairing potholes in the drive and I had to give up on that even though it was fairly light work.  Today I was cleaning up the paths after Monday's night's windy weather, and I was fine and did a full days work.

I've now accepted the fact that my knee is going to take months to get better and that I'm not going to be out doing 'proper' walking (i.e. in the Peak District) until well after Christmas.  But if I can do local walks and still volunteer at Hare Hill, I guess I'll cope.
