Shutting Down the Garden
We took the opportunity the most pleasant afternoon offered to do a lot of the work necessary to close down our veggie garden.
We harvested the last of the green tomatoes and all of our four varieties of peppers to complete our veggie growing this year.
All of the beaten down paths are roto-tilled.
Our garden is now growing only flowers; most of which are still thriving.
It is a garden that just keeps on keeping on for us.
After the first heavy frost we will settle down the garden for its winter sleep.
Our community garden refuse cart in the extra photo is brim full!
