Burying Kiwi

Sunday was a day to stay home, get things done, and try to relax.  The Hubby had to work, so it was just us girls and the pets.  One of the major chores to get done was burying Kiwi.  Sugar wanted to dig the hole, but Topaz was positive that she needed her help.  He slowed down the process, but it was cute.  When it was time to place Kiwi's burial box in the grave, Topaz said his final goodbyes.  He misses Kiwi.  He goes to her cage and looks for her all the time.  It's sad.  

Sugar and I completed lots of other chores, and still had time to snuggle and catch up on our shows.  I did some cooking for the week, and she put together her week of outfits as she was putting away laundry. Another weekend gone by.....but it was a good one.
