Scary drive

We left home at 8.30am to drive to Udon Thani.   It was drizzly as we left,  the rain increased to torrential.  It eased up and the sun came out. Unfortunately once we were in the mountains the rain started again and a mist came down.  Visibility was poor.  Just to add to the problems the road had suffered damaged following the recent heavy rain and there were deep pot holes and the road had actually fallen away in some sections.  See my extra.
We eventually arrived at our hotel safely.  A lot later than anticipated but we are here now.
