Common Green Bottle Fly for Tiny Tuesday

I would not describe the colors on this fly as common. I would call them iridescent! 

This is a first for me....catching one of these with my lens. I have seen some wonderful posts and thought how pesky pretty they are with the sun shining on their lovely backs.

The extra photo shows that dogs are smarter than humans. These two are saying, "Oh no, it is quite ok for us to come over. They wouldn't have put these chairs here to help us if it wasn't." With what happened this weekend, I am not going to fuss about the dogs. The fence is close to being done.

I am grateful that I can look at things that used to annoy me with a new outlook....flies and dogs.
