Stealing a sook ....

A day best forgotten.
First off break it Bill managed to catch a hydraulic hose and rip it off the silage grab. Then the trailer load of dung he had on got a flat tyre.
Then Kev said the dung spreader had blown a hydraulic hose . On inspection the other hose on it didn't look too clever either.
By the time I had all the hoses off I looked like Red Adair fighting an oil well gusher.
A trip to Haddington to get the tyre fixed, then Macmerry to get 3 hoses made up then back home to fit them all.
The only up side today was that the lab made it back from the vet OK after his anaesthetic and the calve I twinned on to cow 608 last night finally decided to suck.
This is a cheeky big calve stealing a sook while the wee calve is in sucking it's mum. Sneaky .
