Sunrise

I almost missed it this morning but as it was SO windy I took this shot from the front door looking through the garden of the house across the road.

The high winds didn't keep us from enjoying a walk but clambering over the rocks was a definite no no!  We sought shelter at the side of the granary building at the harbour while we watched this dad and his two youngsters battling against the wind.

The wind died down, a bit, in the afternoon so many folk took advantage of the milder conditions and headed to the beach for some fun in the sand and the shallows.
