if there was no school.....

this one has fed the animals, cleaned the kitchen (including shelves, which included wiping jars, reorganising things and telling me which ones need refilling), then she watched Barbie in Italian, which has the advantage of her not understanding a word, then she - in a very Buddhist kind of way - spent a few hours arranging flowers, then she gave me advice in the garden (not based on any gardening knowledge at all and totally batty, but never mind) and then she announced "as there is no school, I suppose I will have to do sports by myself" so did this 100 times. Which she considered to be enough times. Now she's having a bowl of biscuits.
