Kew Bridge Kerfuffle

There was a bit of a kerfuffle underway when I arrived at Kew Bridge on one of my usual lunchtime walks. Someone appeared to be threatening to jump from the bridge. It's not a very tall bridge and the tide was very high, so the fall probably wouldn't have done much damage, but drowning was a definite possibility.

Fortunately by the time the Port of London Authority boat arrived with flashing blue lights, the land-based police had managed to get the precarious individual back onto the pavement.
