in Deepsyke Forest.

Noticed this tower a few times when I've cycled past but I went today for a closer look. From what I've read the tower and several other stone pillars in the area were used to assist surveying work in the construction of the Talla aqueduct to bring water from Talla reservoir to Edinburgh.
