Weird skies

What a funny coloured sky we had for quite a bit of today.

Mid morning it went really dark and the sky a funny grey/orange colour, the photo doesn't capture the eerie colour and apocalyptic feel it gave to everything.

Apparently it was Sahara sand being blown over to the UK after a calima heat storm, that and probably the tail winds from Storm Ophelia.
