Book Week Day #3: Bearing Fruit
So heartening to see some positive results from my classroom visits. I love these suns made by the Nursery children, and a wonderful storybook made by a Year Six child. Closer to home, we learned today that not only has Valerie been chosen to compete in a relay race against teams from all forty schools in Nishinomiya City, but her school report on the Japanese-American internment camps of Wold War II has been judged the best report from all the schools in Nishinomiya City. In other words, her report was selected from among 28,000 others. Her report will now compete against the best from all the other cities in Hyogo Prefecture. This has been a great day indeed!
