Rothley

The heart of the village of Rothley has changed very little but over the years it has sprawled out into the surrounding countryside. There is so little green space left as vast quantities at a time are regularly taken over by big building contractors.
Some things haven't changed: the church where I went regularly to Sunday school when I was growing up and the brook nearby (see extra) where we as kids would play with our kayaks and fishing nets.
