Pink October : Firewood for Next Winter

Today the wood merchant came and dropped off a load of firewood, which I will dry out over the summer for next year's fires.  The pink flowers in the foreground are Clematis, not sure which one.  The first extra is a closeup of the Clematis, and the second extra is of the pile of firewood.

I have had a great day, starting with morning tea with the church ladies.  I had a nice walk through the park, and just need to do a couple more 1,000 steps, then I'm done for the day.  It has been beautiful and warm.
