A visit

Today I made a two hour drive to Steamboat Springs to see my friend Sandy.   Jerry had work to do here at the house and did not need my help so today was the day to make the trip.    Sandy and I walked along the Yampa River on the bike and walking trail that is 7 miles long from one end to the other.   We only walked a mile though as Sandy's knee is given her fits!    As we walked one side of the trail was bordered by the highway but the other side was the river and some farms.   This horse looked like a statue there!     I would love to go back and walk the whole trail but I don't know if I will have time on this trip!  

It was a beautiful warm day.  We ate outside on the patio at the pizza place!     I could have put shorts and a tank top on!      And this is one day after the snow!   Crazy Colorado weather!
