on (a) golden pond

I took my camera with me while running errands this afternoon. I had hoped to get a dramatic photo of Pikes Peak, but it was not looking as dramatic as I had expected. So I stopped by a pond in our neighborhood and was happy to see the golden reflection of leaves in the water. The American Wigeon floating by was a bonus.
