Looks like its that time of the year coming up

These were on sale at the local farm shop. I did see some in Morrisons last week WHITE ones at that, who wants a white pumpkin.?

Did you see the amazing sun today?  Our morning was very misty but just around midday as we got out of the car at the farm shop I saw this Blood Orange sun in the sky through the mist, it was really spooky, and as the mist cleared it stayed orangey red for ages, but I didn't have my camera with me and my phone camera is limited to what I can take with it. I did get a shot later but it was nearly back to a normal sun with an orange halo round it. Something to do with this hurricane whipping up the Sahara sand, I remember years ago something similar happening.
