A Postcard from St Andrews

What a dismal day .... very poor light and quite a bit of sea mist mixed in with some blustery squalls.

L and I went to St Andrews primarily to go to the post office and then after a coffee we had a spot of retail therapy. We both bought books in this fab book shop and then I parted with just a little more of my hard earned pension and bought a pair of lightweight gortex boots.

By late afternoon the weather improved slightly and we managed a bracing walk along the beach but there was just no sign of the sun :-((
