Scone Palace

A quick visit here on the road up to the ferry in Aberdeen.  Lots of lovely things to see, but a bit too roped off for my liking - I like to be able to examine things a bit more closely!  I was hoping to get a photo of Mike eating a scone at Scone Palace, but I wasn't quick enough with my camera!  If we had had time, and Ollie with us, I'm sure we would have had fun exploring the grounds.  Perhaps another time.

A rough ferry crossing, but we managed to keep our dinner down, and managed a few hours sleep too.  Because of the weather we were half an hour late berthing in Kirkwall, so it was well after midnight before we got home.  Well worth it though, we have had a super time.  It starts here.
